How is Chime V5 deployed on our Microsoft Azure platform?

Your Chime V5 instance is hosted by us and includes all of the necessary Azure resources for deployment. Many of Chime V5’s features leverage Azure AI services, they will be enabled without any custom Azure configuration required. If desired, custom Azure Credentials can be used on a tenant level.

I’m already a Chime V4 customer, can I preserve my existing queues?

Chime V5 is a separate application from other versions of Instant Chime, meaning your Chime V4 instance will experience no downtime. Additionally, Chime V5’s pipelines can be configured to replicate your existing V4 queues.

Pipelines are a complete overhaul queue system, offering AI enabled chat workflows, integration with ticketing services, and improved reporting features.

What are the costs associated with Evaluating Chime V5?

Can Chime V4 and Chime V5 instances Co-exist?

Chime V5 can be installed in the Teams Store in just a few clicks and once configured, exists separately from your Chime V4 instance.
