  • To migrate from Chime V4 to Chime V5, simply sign up for Chime V5. Our team will then set up your new, SaaS-based Chime V5 environment, with no modifications needed to your existing on-premise Chime V4 setup.

  • Yes. Chime for Teams (V4) will continue to operate unaffected, as they are entirely independent applications, with V4 being on-premise and V5 being a SaaS solution. Any data and services in Chime V4 will remain unaltered.

  • Chime V5 is enhanced with more advanced features compared to Chime for Teams (V4), including AI capabilities, customizable dashboards, customizable web client, customizable reporting, and customizable chat workflows. Artificial Intelligence

  • Chime V5 uses Azure AI for its AI features such as Agent Assist Tool and its self-service chat. At the moment, Chime V5 does not run its own model.
